As part of Military Appreciation Month and Memorial Day, many companies and organizations across the United States are offering free and discounted services to current and veteran military personnel. The Advanced Airspace Summit is part of a comprehensive conference program that provides practical and useful education, developed in collaboration with commercial drone leaders. In Maryland, Montgomery County and Prince George's County are prioritizing the replacement of dirty diesel buses, which are detrimental to health and the environment. In Travis County, Texas, and Pierce County, Washington State, the issue of homelessness is being addressed by increasing the affordable housing stock and partnering with nonprofit organizations to tackle the problem. This month, many companies and organizations across the country are also providing free or discounted services to military personnel and veterans. I had the great honor of being a New Castle County Councilman.
In addition to these initiatives, Montgomery County, Texas is offering discounts for disabled persons attending the Advanced Airspace Summit. This discount is available to those with a disability or who are veterans. To take advantage of this discount, individuals must provide proof of their disability or veteran status.
